Q. What are the complimentary breakfast hours?
A. 7:00 am 10:00am Monday - Friday and one half hour later on
Saturdays and Sundays.
Q. Do you have a fitness center?
A. Like all Embassy Suites, we feature a state of the art
Precor Fitness Center. It's located adjacent to the main lobby
Q. Are you right on the beach?
A. There is a small frontage road with some metered parking
spaces between the resort and the ocean.
As this road ends right behind the hotel, traffic is minimal.
Q. Do you provide transportation from Fort Lauderdale,
Palm Beach or Miami airports, or to the cruise terminal?
A. We do not provide transportation. There are several
services, including Super Shuttle, to get you from the airports to the
resort. No need to make reservations, as they are located right
outside baggage claim. To get back to the airport or cruise
terminal, our concierge will be happy to help you.
Q. Do you have beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach?
A. Yes. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for a nominal
daily rental fee.
Q. Why do I have to pay for parking?
A. Virtually all oceanfront hotels have a parking charge, due to
the high cost of the land and our covered, secure
underground parking. We don't charge resort fees or
additional package fees, unlike many other area resorts.
Parking charges are $20 per day in our underground parking lot.
Q. Can non-hotel guests use the spa?
A. Of course! Spa950 is open to the public and non-hotel guests
are welcome.
Q. Do all of your suites have balconies?
A. All of our suites have sliding doors that open. Our
double-bed suites have a small step-out balcony,
All oceanview and oceanfront kings have balconies. Most standard kings
do.
Q. Does the hotel provide pool and beach towels
for guests?
A. Yes, and they are complimentary.
Q. What are the pool hours?
A. Dawn to Dusk. City regulations prohibit pool usage after dark.
Q. Are kids programs available?
A. Yes. Funky Fish Kids program is available on Thursdays and
Saturdays. More information on the website.
Q. Is there a charge for Internet access?
A. $9.95 for 24 hours. Access is complimentary in the
business center and there are laptop ports.
Q. What time is checkout?
A. 12 noon. Late checkout to 1pm is complimentary if
available, $40 till 2pm and $60 till 6pm. After that a full day
rate.
Q. Can non-guests use the pool area?
A. Pool area is restricted to resort guests and Spa950 Gold Card
holders. Click on Spa950 above to see information on
the Gold Card, which includes a massage every month for a year!
Q. I have a high-profile vehicle. Is there a place
I can park it?
A. Our covered, secured parking is limited to vehicles with a
maximum height of six feet, six inches. There may be some
parking available in the entry area, but its not guaranteed.
Q. We want to have a wedding right on the beach. Can we
do that?
A. There are very few places in South Florida where you can have a
formal wedding ceremony on the public beach.
We have two venues overlooking, and just steps from, the beach, and we
offer receptions, rehearsal parties, and indoor
"weather backups" for parties as small as 10 and as large as 200.
